Description

This gas lamp standard, located opposite No. 75 (Ardsheal) on Kippington Road, dates from around 1890. It is made of cast iron and features a tapering lantern topped with a central urn finial and decorative acroteria at both ends, all mounted on a fluted cylindrical column. This lamp is part of a series of gas lamp standards along Kippington Road.
