Description

The gas lamp standard outside No 2 (Orchard House) is a cast iron structure dating from around 1890. It features a tapering lantern topped with a central urn finial and decorative acroteria at each end, all mounted on a fluted column. This lamp standard is part of a series of gas lamp standards located along Oakhill Road.
