Description

This gas lamp standard, located outside No 118 (Jumpers Hatch), dates from around 1890 and is made of cast iron. It features a tapering lantern with a central urn finial and decorative acroteria at the ends, all mounted on an octagonal column with a deep plinth. This lamp is part of a series of gas lamp standards along Oakhill Road.
