Description

The Horseshoes is a 16th-century timber-framed cottage that has been re-fronted. It is a two-storey, two-window structure with a high-pitched tiled roof and a ridge stack primarily made of old bricks. The first floor is tile hung, while the ground floor is red brick with some blue headers. The windows are small-paned iron casements from the early 19th century. A plain plank door is sheltered by a small, flat hood. A modern, single-storey extension has been added to the left, designed to be in keeping with the original building.
