Description
Little Chested is a 16th century or earlier timber-framed cottage located on Chiddingstone Causeway in Penshurst. The cottage has two storeys and features two windows. It has a high-pitched tiled roof and a large old chimney with offsets and a double stack at the left end. The first floor is tile hung, while the ground floor is made of 18th century or early 19th century red brick with blue headers, although the brickwork at the right end is later. The windows are modern casements, and the entrance is located on the return side. There are 19th century and modern extensions at the rear.
