Description

The barn located to the west of Sandhole Cottages is likely from the early 17th century and is constructed with weatherboarding. It features a tiled roof that is hipped on the right side and half hipped on the left. The structure has very stout posts with diagonal braces supporting a half rail. Inside, the roof is supported by queen post trusses that include wind braces to the purlins.
