Description

Horseshoes Cottage is probably a 17th-century timber-framed cottage, with later additions. It has a high-pitched, half-hipped tiled roof and a ridge stack. The first floor is tile-hung, while the ground floor is red brick with a diaper pattern of blue headers. Visible posts are present at the corners. 19th-century single-bar casement windows are fitted. A plain plank door gives access to the interior. Timber framing is visible to the right side and rear of the cottage, with the remaining areas plastered. A long, rear lean-to addition is also present.
