Description

Chimney Cottage is a 17th century timber-framed building with white painted brick to the lower wall and infill panels. It has an old tile roof, half-hipped on the right side. The cottage is one storey high with an attic. It features a door with a small hood, two-light casement windows on each side, and two gabled dormers with two-light casements. The gables are brick nogged. A projecting chimney is located on the right side of the front elevation, with a large stack on the left-hand gable wall. There is a lean-to addition to the rear.
