Description
Nos 37 and 39 on Whielden Street are late 17th century or early 18th century buildings constructed from red and grey brick. They feature an old tile roof with a hipped dormer that has a two-light leaded casement. The buildings have a wooden modillion eaves cornice and are two storeys tall with an attic. There is a first floor band that is broken over the doorways. The front has four wooden two-light mullion and transom casements with flat gauged arches, with two of these casements positioned in the centre on each side of plain doors that have hoods above them. There are also dummy window recesses above the doors.
