Description

Number 33 on Whielden Street is a building dating from the 16th century or early 17th century, which has been altered over time. It is constructed of flint rubble with a brick gable, quoins, and window dressings, topped with an old tile roof. The building has two storeys, featuring a first-floor band and a row of exposed joist ends from a former jetty below. The ground floor includes a modern door and a three-light casement window, while the first floor has a two-light casement window. The former crosswing of the house extends to include number 31. Inside, there are exposed timbers that are of interest.
