Description

Yew Tree Farmhouse is a 17th century or earlier timber-framed building located on Troy Lane in Edenbridge. It stands two storeys high and features two windows, with a blank bay on the right that may be an addition. The roof is hipped and tiled. The first floor shows visible square framing with brick filling, while the right bay is tile hung. The ground floor is made of brick, with the right bay being modern. There are paired doors set in very heavy frames within a gabled modern timber porch. The windows include 19th century and modern casements. At the rear, there is a wing with a ridge stack and a left rear service extension. Inside, the farmhouse has an inglenook fireplace and much exposed timber.
