Description

Hilders Farmhouse is a restored 16th-century brick and tile-hung farmhouse located on the north side of Hilders Lane in Edenbridge. The building features hipped gables and a modern two-storey porch at the center, which has exposed half-timbering and rendered infilling. It has modern leaded casement windows. To the right of the entrance front, there is an older section where a hipped gabled bay has been added to the end of a long range. The garden front displays a varied skyline with gables and ridges, along with brick and tile-hung elevations and a later rubble porch. Inside, there is much exposed timber and Jacobean panelling, which is likely imported.
