Description

Crouch House is an 18th-century front to an older timber-framed structure, situated on Crouch House Road, Edenbridge. It is a two-storey building with three windows. The house has a high-pitched tile roof and projecting end chimney stacks. The eaves feature a moulded fillet and bracket gutter. The walls are brick, with a brick plinth, and flat segmental brick arches over the windows. The symmetrical elevation presents a central panelled doorway within a moulded frame, topped by a rectangular fanlight with diamond-shaped tracery, and a projecting hood supported by brackets. Five sash windows are present, with bars removed from both floors, all in exposed frames. An early 19th-century rear wing extends the property.
