Painter's Cottage is likely a 17th century house with an 18th century front, located on the west side of High Street in Edenbridge. The building has two storeys and features two windows. It has a high-pitched tiled roof with eaves soffit and a ridge stack. The first floor is weatherboarded, while the ground floor is made of modern brick.
