Description

The Cottage is a building located on the west side of High Street in Edenbridge, likely dating from the 17th century with an 18th-century front. It is two storeys high and has two windows. The building features a double span and a high-pitched roof, which has been renewed with machine tiles, and includes an eaves soffit. There is one chimney stack at the end and another on the ridge. The first floor has renewed weatherboarding, while the ground floor is faced with modern brick. The 18th-century three-light leaded casements are present on the first floor. The ground floor has a modern bow shop front and a glazed door. The Cottage is included for its contribution to the street scene.
