Description

Old Pound House is a restored, timber-framed building dating from the 16th century or earlier, located on the north side of Lingfield Road in Edenbridge. The original part of the house is situated on the garden front and features two storeys with two irregularly placed windows. It has a high-pitched tiled roof with a compound ridge stack. The visible framing, which is partly restored, includes red brick infill. The windows are small leaded casements, some dating from the 18th century alongside modern ones. There are also modern extensions on the entrance front.
