Description
Edenbridge House is a 16th century or earlier timber-framed building with modern extensions facing the road. The original house is visible from the garden and features two storeys and an attic with four irregularly placed windows. It has a high-pitched tiled roof that is hipped on the left and extended on the right to connect with a projecting new wing. A tall compound stack is located just below the ridge, and there are two pent dormers. The first floor is tile hung, while the ground floor is made of 19th century red brick with a pattern of blue headers. The windows are modern leaded casements, and there is a pent hood above a studded plank door. Inside, the inglenook fireplace has a flattened Tudor arch, and there is much exposed timber throughout the building.
