Description

Colesgrove Farm is a 16th-century farmhouse, largely re-faced in the early 19th century with red brick in a style reminiscent of the late 17th and early 18th centuries. It has an old tile double-hipped roof. The building is two storeys high, with a brick floor band and a brick modillioned cornice. The south elevation features three segmental-headed windows, each containing a three-light or two-light casement. A modern tiled porch has been added. A brick lean-to was added to the east side, likely in the 17th century. Inside, there is a large brick fireplace, likely of 16th or 17th-century origin, and heavy exposed floor beams.
