Description

No. 403 on Goff's Lane is an early to mid-19th century imitation-Tudor estate cottage associated with Colesgrove Manor. The building features roughcast walls and a half-timbered upper floor, topped with a slate roof. It has gable ends on both the east and west sides, along with a gabled porch that displays trefoiled cusped bargeboards, pendants, and spiked finials. The west end is adorned with a weathervane and a similar valence. On the ground floor, there are two 3-light leaded casement windows with Tudor grip moulds. Additionally, there is a canted bracketed oriel on the west end. This cottage is included in the listing for its group value.
