Description

The Old Barn is a 17th-century timber frame barn, later converted into a house in 1926 by W Mitchell. It was originally part of Colesgrove Farm. The barn is constructed with plastered brick infill and has a modern tile roof. A modern red brick plinth and chimneys are also present. The building is two storeys high. The original structure remains largely intact, including a gabled cast entrance that now serves as a porch, located to the right of the centre. A single gable was added to the left-hand side. Leaded casement windows are found throughout.
