Description

Rose Cottage is an early to mid-19th century Tudor-style cottage located on Halstead Hill, Cheshunt. The building is constructed of painted brick and has a slate roof. It is one storey high with attics. The front facade features two windows, a gabled porch with a pointed-arch door, and a ground floor three-light, flat-headed casement window. There are two two-light, gabled attic dormers. Decorative features include scalloped bargeboards and valences with pendants. Diagonal chimney stacks are located at each end of the building. A one-storey continuation runs along the south side, featuring a four-light casement window.
