Description
The barn located to the west of Waterlake House is a 4-bay structure, likely built in the late 16th to early 17th century. It features a half-hipped tiled roof and walls that are weatherboarded, resting on a foundation made of both brick and rubble masonry. Inside, the barn has tie and collar beam trusses, with wind braces supporting the purlins. There are also diagonal braces along the walls above the half rail, constructed from fairly stout timbers.
