Description
Toby Cottage is a 16th century or earlier L-shaped cottage, with one wing possibly being a hall house. The ends of the wings are cut short, and both wings now have gable ends, although they display long hips at the junction. The cottage has two storeys and features an irregular arrangement of two and one windows. It is topped with large tiled roofs. At the left end, there is a large external stack. The first floor is tile hung, while the ground floor is made of painted brick. The windows are a mix of 19th century and modern casements, and there is a plank door.
