Description

The residence of Mrs. Barrows, dated 1686, features a 19th-century weatherboarded elevation that conceals an older framed structure. The building is two storeys high with a single hip tiled dormer. It has a ridge tile roof with two end gable projections facing the street, covered with Welsh slate. On the ground floor, there are glazed shop windows with bars and one plain sash window on the right side. The first floor includes various casement windows and one sash window on the right side. The side elevation has an oversailing first floor that is tile hung. The rear elevation showcases an early 19th-century bow with sash windows, with the first floor also tile hung and the bow oversailing on slim iron posts.
