Description
The Leicester Arms Hotel is a building originally from the 17th century, although it has been significantly altered over time. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring five windows. The ground floor is finished in stucco with a tarred plinth, while the first floor is tile hung. The roof is a large half hip, covered with tiles and includes three leaded dormers. The windows on the first floor are late 18th century sash windows with bars. There are also two modern projecting tiled porches. The Leicester Arms Hotel, along with Nos 1 & 2 (Rectory Cottages), Nos 1 & 2 (Leicester House), and The Buxton House Stores, forms a group of buildings.
