5/46 Hearnden Farmhouse

GV II

House. C18 or earlier with early C19 addition to right. Left section timber framed, weatherboarded, with plain tile roof. Right section red and grey brick in Flemish bond with slate roof. 2 storeys on brick plinth. Right section projects forwards, with higher eaves and flat eaves soffits. Roof half-hipped to left. Roof of right section hipped. Projecting brick stack to left gable end and ridge stack to right end of left section. Irregular fenestration of 5 windows; two 3-light and central 2-light casement to left section, one 12-pane and one 16-pane recessed sash to right section. Right- hand first-floor window and all gable-end windows of right section have Gothick panes. Blind boxes to first-floor windows of right section. Double doors with rectangular lights under flat-hooded porch on chamfered posts to left of right section. Later C19 addition to rear. Interior not inspected.
