Description
Pheasant Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century, with 20th-century alterations. It is timber framed, with the ground floor finished in 20th-century red brick laid in stretcher bond. The first floor features exposed framing and rendered infilling, topped by a plain tile roof. The building is two storeys high and has close studded framing, with an ogee brace on the left gable end and to the right of the centre. There is a continuous jetty that formerly returned to the left, with the left end underbuilt and the right obscured. The farmhouse has projecting gable end stacks and a central leaded cupola. The windows are irregularly arranged, consisting of three 20th-century wooden casements. The door, which was formerly located in the centre, is now situated in a 20th-century brick porch that leads to a two-storey rear extension on the left. There is also a rear lean-to on the right and a single-storey brick addition to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
