Description
Little Ulcombe is a house that dates from the 16th century or early 17th century. It is timber framed, with the ground floor featuring patched red brick in Flemish bond. The first floor has exposed studding with rendered infilling, and the roof is covered with plain tiles. The building consists of approximately four timber-framed bays and is two storeys high. The studding is broadly spaced, with tension braces at each end bay and two in the centre. The roof is hipped and has a gablet on the right side. There is a central brick ridge stack. The windows are arranged irregularly, including one three-light wooden diamond mullioned window on the left, one seven-light window towards the left, one three-light and one six-light window to the right of centre, and one two-light casement at the right end. There is a 20th-century ribbed door situated under the stack, and a brick lean-to is located on the right side. The interior has not been inspected.
