Description
Little Tong is a farmhouse, now divided into cottages, dating from the 17th century or earlier, with a 19th-century facade. The building is timber-framed, featuring a ground floor made of red and grey brick in Flemish bond and a first floor that is tile-hung. It has a plain tile roof and stands two stories high on a stone plinth. The roof is hipped, with a gablet on the left side. There are two brick stacks, one towards the left end and a slender projecting stack at the right end. The windows are arranged irregularly and consist of three 3-light casements. There are two doors located between the right and central windows; one is boarded and the other is half-glazed, both with flat bracketed hoods. At the rear, there is a timber-framed lean-to. The interior has not been inspected.
