Hop-Pickers' kitchen or cook-house. C19. Red brick with occasional grey headers, in Flemish bond. Plain tile roof. 2 apparently entirely separate rooms. Single storey. Gabled. Projecting shouldered gable-end stacks rising well above ridge, corbelled out from about half way up wall. One window opening towards each end. 2 doors set towards centre. Rear brick lean-to with slate roof, also to centre and backing on to stream, containing 2 separate WC's, each with external door only. Interior: broad hearth with cambered head right across each gable end. Brick wall between rooms, boarded above eaves level.
