Description
Clarkes Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with a 19th-century facade and a later addition. The ground floor is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, while the first floor is tile-hung. It has a plain tile roof and stands two storeys high with a garret. The roof is half-hipped, and there is a ridge stack located to the left of the centre. The building features irregular fenestration with two casements: one is a two-light and the other a three-light. There is a ribbed door situated under the stack, which is accessed through a gabled open porch supported by two posts. To the left, there is a two-storey rear wing that runs parallel to the main house and projects to the left. The ground floor of this wing is also red brick in Flemish bond, while the first floor is weatherboarded. It has a half-hipped plain tile roof and contains one three-light casement. A door is located to the right of this wing, adjacent to the main range. Additionally, there is a tile-hung rear lean-to on the right side. The interior has not been inspected.
