Description
Chegworth Mill House is a house dating from the mid-19th century. The front elevation is made of buff brick in Flemish bond, while the right side features a chequered pattern of red and grey brick. It has a slate roof and stands two storeys tall on a plinth, with a hipped roof and two stacks at the rear. The eaves project with flat soffits. The front has a regular arrangement of three windows, which are recessed 16-pane glazing-bar sashes with splayed rubbed brick voussoirs. The central entrance features a boarded door topped by a decorative semi-circular fanlight, accessed by three steps. The interior has not been inspected. This house is associated with Chegworth Water Mill and is included for its group value.
