Description

This is a house, likely dating from the 16th century or earlier, with a significantly altered 19th-century facade. The house is timber-framed. The ground floor is clad in painted brick laid in a Flemish bond pattern, while the first floor is tile-hung. It has a plain tile roof and sits on a stone plinth. The roof is hipped. The front has an irregular arrangement of three leaded casement windows: two are of three lights, and one is of two lights. A half-glazed door is located to the right of centre, and there is a rear lean-to addition on the left side. A rear wing extends to the right, constructed of roughly coursed galletted ragstone with a plain tile roof. A prominent red brick ridge stack is positioned near the junction of the rear wing and the main house. The interior has not been inspected.
