Description
Holbrook is a house that was originally built as cottages in the 17th century, with an early 19th-century addition and facade. The ground floor is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, while the first floor is rendered. The roof is covered with plain tiles and is hipped to the left. The eaves are much higher on the added section to the right. There is a brick ridge stack towards the left end and a gable end stack on the right. The building features irregular fenestration with four windows: one three-light and two two-light casements on the left section, and one 12-pane sash on the right section. A half-glazed door is located towards the right end of the left section. The interior has not been inspected but is reported to have arch braces and relatively close-set joists.
