Description
Lake Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the first half of the 17th century. It has a timber frame construction, with the ground floor finished in painted brick and the first floor featuring exposed studding and rendered infilling. The roof is covered with plain tiles and has about four timber-framed bays. The building is two storeys high and has close studding, with a tension brace on the right side. The roof is hipped and includes gablets, with a brick stack located on the front slope of the roof towards the left end. The windows are irregularly arranged and consist of three leaded casements, including two 2-light windows and one 3-light window. There is a 20th-century ribbed door located in a small 20th-century timber-framed porch beneath the stack. At the rear, there is a lean-to structure. The interior has not been inspected.
