Description
Murzie Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 17th century or possibly earlier. It features a timber frame construction, with the ground floor made of red and grey brick in English bond to the right of the door and in Flemish bond to the left. The first floor is covered with fishscale tiles, and the roof is plain tiled. The building has two storeys and a stone plinth to the right of the door. It has a gabled roof and includes a projecting red and grey brick stack on the left gable end, as well as a brick ridge stack towards the right end. The windows are arranged irregularly, with four casements in total: two three-light windows to the left of the door, one two-light window to the right, and another two-light window to the right of the stack. There is a ribbed door located under a lean-to porch between the second and third windows from the left, and a rear lean-to is also present. The interior has not been inspected.
