Description
Tudor Cottage is a house that was formerly two cottages, with a façade dating from the 18th century, although the building may be older. The ground floor is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, featuring three flush courses of grey headers below the first-floor tile-hanging. The right gable end is made of red and grey brick above the eaves, with stone below. The roof is covered with plain tiles and is half-hipped to the left. The building has two storeys and attics, set on a stone plinth, and includes a cogged brick eaves cornice and a coped brick gable end with a kneeler. There are multiple brick stacks, including a ridge stack towards the left end and another at the right gable end. The roof features three 20th-century hipped dormers. The windows are arranged irregularly, with four casements: three are three-light, and one, located above the door, is a two-light. The ground floor windows have segmental heads and splayed brick voussoirs. There is an off-centre boarded door to the right. A stone lean-to is located at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
