Description
Gravitts Farm House is a house dating from the 18th century, with a rear wing that is from the 17th century or earlier. The ground floor is built of red brick in stretcher bond, featuring studs of relatively thin scantling on the left gable end, while the first floor is tile-hung with both plain and fishscale tiles. The rear wing is close-studded and has a plain tile roof. The front range from the 18th century has a half-hipped roof, and the rear wing is also half-hipped at the back. There is a central brick ridge stack on the front range. The house has an irregular arrangement of three casement windows, consisting of two three-light windows and one central two-light window. The entrance features panelled double doors within a central brick porch. The interior has not been inspected.
