Description
Lucks Cottage is a house dating from the early 17th century, constructed with a timber frame. The ground floor is rendered, while the first floor features exposed studding with plaster infilling. The roof is covered with plain tiles and the building consists of four timber-framed bays arranged in a lobby entry plan. It stands two storeys high on a stone plinth and showcases close studding with tension braces. There are brick ridge stacks at the left end and in the second bay from the right, along with a slender stack projecting from the right end. The first floor has mortices for a 4-light diamond mullion window. The fenestration is irregular, consisting of four 2-light leaded casements. There is a ribbed door at the left end bay and a blocked door located under the stack. The interior has not been inspected.
