Description
Horseshoes is a 17th-century house located on the west side of The Street in Bredhurst. The building features a ground floor made of red brick in Flemish bond and a first floor that is tile-hung, topped with a plain tile roof. It is two storeys high and sits on a brick and flint plinth. The roof is hipped at both ends, and there is a central brick ridge stack aligned with the ridge. The windows are arranged irregularly, with one two-light casement window towards the left end and a 20th-century casement window towards the right end. There is a wide blocked opening in the centre of the ground floor, which may have originally been for two doors. A 20th-century panelled door with a fanlight is located in the rear lean-to.
