Description
Home Farmhouse is a 17th-century house located on the west side of The Street in Hindringham. The building is constructed of whitewashed brick with flint and brick dressings, featuring a blackened plinth. The west front has a south end bay made entirely of flint, while the rear is a mix of flint and brick. The house has a red pantiled roof and stands two storeys tall. The ground floor has three windows, and the first floor has four windows, all of which are casements. There is an off-centre part-glazed door, and the building is adorned with a brick dentil eaves cornice. The high-pitched roof includes a south end stack, a brick parapet, and two blocked attic windows at the gable. There is also an off-centre moulded brick stack and a north end stack with a parapet. Additionally, there is a one-storey 18th-century wing extension to the north.
