Description

No. 79 is a cottage built around 1820, constructed from pebble flint with gault brick dressings and a slate roof. The building has two bays and stands two stories tall. It features one ground floor sash window and two first floor sashes, all with glazing bars, set under flat rubbed brick arches that have flush brick rusticated dressings. The entrance has a simple wooden doorcase with three panel reveals and a six-panel door. There is also a flat arched brick-dressed alley opening. The roof is hipped, and there is an eaves stack located at the north side of the building.
