Description

This barn, located to the north-west of Blue Tile House, dates back to the 15th century but has a date of 1749 inscribed on it. It is constructed of brick and features a red pantiled roof. The barn has a three-stead plan and includes an off-centre west cart entrance fitted with 20th-century doors. There is an east cart porch that is integrated into additional farm buildings. The barn is equipped with brick honeycomb ventilation windows. The gables at the north end have brick parapets, while the south gable has ventilation holes and purlin irons, which display the initials E H and I E H along with the date 1749. The roof structure consists of tie beams, collars, and butt purlins.
