Description
Waterloo Farmhouse is a house from the 17th century, constructed of pebble flint with brick dressings and a red pantiled roof. It has two storeys and consists of three different builds. The main house, located to the east, features two ground floor and three first floor late 19th century plate glass sash windows, along with one central fire window and a late 19th century part glazed door. To the west, there is an extension that includes one ground floor and one first floor plate glass sash window, as well as a fire window on the first floor.
At the junction of the two builds, there is a mid-19th century brick and flint porch with a four-centred arch. The western side has brick quoins, a kneeler, a coped parapet, and an end stack that has been partly rebuilt. A line of two builds features an eaves kneeler and a prominent parapet, with a stack indicating the line of an earlier, taller roof pitch. The east gable displays brick and stone quoins. Inside, the farmhouse has spine beams and stopped bressumers, and on the first floor, there is a four-centred arched stone fire surround.
