Description

Church Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 17th century, with later details and alterations. It is constructed of flint with brick-dressed rear and end gables, and a brick front, topped with a red pantiled roof. The building has two storeys with attics and features a lobby entrance plan at the north side.

On the ground floor, there are three windows, including one 19th-century sash window with glazing bars. The first floor has two 19th-century sashes with glazing bars and one earlier opening that has been blocked. A straight joint on the north side indicates an extension to an earlier house, which also has a 19th-century sash with glazing bars. The south gable includes one open and one blocked attic window.

The garden front features two 19th-century bay windows with glazing bars on the north side, along with two 20th-century doors and one window on the south side. A late 19th-century partially glazed off-centre door marks the original lobby entrance plan. The first floor has five 19th-century sashes with glazing bars and two dormers. The south side has a kneeler and parapet with a 17th-century end gable stack, one off-centre stack, and one stack on the north gable. There is also a single-storey extension made of flint, brick, and red pantiles at the south.
