Description
Lower Green Farmhouse is a house with a core dating from the 17th century, featuring later details. The exterior is roughcast from the 20th century over brick, topped with a red pantiled roof that has early 19th-century parapets and gault brick stacks. The building has three ground floor and four first floor 19th-century sash windows with glazing bars, along with a part glazed 20th-century door. Architectural details include brick dentils at the eaves, parapets, and gault end stacks from the early 19th century. The roof is steeply pitched. At the north side, there is an attached barn made of brick and flint with an outshut at the rear. Inside, the farmhouse features stopped and chamfered beams.
