Description
Polehill Farmhouse is a 16th-century house with a timber frame. The ground floor is clad in red brick in English bond on the right and gault brick on the left, while the first floor is rendered, and the right gable is tile-hung. The roof is covered with plain tiles and hipped at both ends. There is an L-plan brick stack, which has been rebuilt in gault brick at the top and is located off-centre to the right, along with a small projecting stack at the left end. The windows are irregularly arranged and consist of 20th-century two-light casements. There is a 20th-century half-glazed door beneath the stack, which is sheltered by a 20th-century gabled rustic porch. Additionally, there is another 20th-century half-glazed door in a 20th-century brick extension to the left.
