Description

Hollyhock Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located on the west side of The Street in Bredhurst. The ground floor is constructed of red brick, while the first floor is tile-hung. The side elevations are pebble-dashed, and the roof is covered with plain tiles, featuring a half-hipped design at both ends. The cottage is two storeys high and is positioned at right angles to the road. There is a projecting stack on the left side elevation, and the gable end has a 20th-century two-light casement window. To the right, there is a plank door with a central glazed light.
