Description
Keepers Farmhouse is a 17th-century house located on the west side of Lenham Ham Lane. The building features a timber frame, with the ground floor constructed of 19th-century red brick in Flemish bond, while the first floor showcases exposed timber framing with plaster infilling. The right end of the house is tile-hung, and it has a plain tile roof. The structure stands two storeys high on a plinth, with thin scantling and widely spaced studs that are supported by almost straight tension braces. The roof is hipped, and there is a multiple rear brick stack that is off-centre to the left. The front has an irregular arrangement of three small two-light casements, and there is a boarded door located off-centre to the left, beneath the stack. To the left, there is a lean-to, and a two-storey extension is present at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
