Description
Ridding House is a farmhouse that dates back to the 15th century and later. It features a timber frame that is clad in a chequered pattern of red and grey brick, with the red brick more prominent on the first floor. The left end bay of the ground floor is constructed in red brick laid in Flemish bond. The building has a plain tile roof and stands two storeys high on a stone plinth. It has a hipped roof with gablets and an off-centre brick ridge stack located to the right. The windows are irregularly arranged and consist of three 2-light casements. There is a half-glazed door situated beneath the stack, along with a 20th-century glazed door in a 19th-century lean-to on the left end. The interior has not been inspected.
